How to Find Us

You can still experience the country just 40 minutes north of Toronto.

Vivian Plantation is located on the south-east corner of Vivian Road/Mulock Drive and Highway 48 (Markham Road). We're easy to find!

Directions to Vivian Plantation

From the south:

Take Hwy 404 north to the first Newmarket exit - Vivian Road/Mulock Drive. Turn right. Travel East on Vivian Road to Hwy #48, marked by the second set of traffic lights. You will see the Grose family home - a classic 2-storey Ontario century yellow brick farm house on the south-east corner. The Vivian Plantation “Shack” is located on Vivian Road a few metres east of Hwy #48. Look for the second drive on the right. Parking is free.

From the west (Newmarket):

Travel North or South to Mulock Drive, then. East on Mulock to where it becomes Vivian Road at the 404.  Continue East on Vivian Road to the traffic lights at the intersection with Hwy #48. The Vivian Plantation "Shack" is located on Vivian Road a few metres east of Hwy #48. Look for the second drive on the right. Parking is free.

From the north/west (Bradford, Keswick, Sutton, Holland Landing):

Take a main route south to Mulock Drive/Vivian Road. Travel East on Vivian Road to the traffic lights at Hwy #48. The Vivian Plantation “Shack” is located on Vivian Road a few metres east of Hwy #48. Look for the second drive on the right. Parking is free.

From the north/east (Pefferlaw, Port Bolster, Beaverton, Udora, Leaskdale, Uxbridge):

Take Hwy #48, Davis Drive or County Road 8, west to the traffic lights at the junction of Vivian Road and Hwy #48. The Vivian Plantation “Shack” is located on Vivian Road a few metres east of Hwy #48. Look for the second drive on the right. Parking is free.
